About the event
We understand this winter has been long, but with the days getting lighter and warmer, it is time for the seeds of growth to bloom. It is an exciting time to be alive right now, let us prepare for what the rest of the year has ahead with clear intention as the portals of the aquarian age stand wide open and we have an opportunity to continue our paths towards embracing who we want to be on this planet, in this lifetime.
More about the journey:
This gathering is intended to get you closer to connecting with your true self, let us gather to shake off the shells of our seeds as we prepare to come into bloom, planting intentions deep into the fertile soil of your subconscious as you're guided through somatic breath work, movement, yoga nidra and cosmic sound scapes.
Further explained:Â
Beginning with some gentle guided somatic breath and movement, generally speaking, somatic breath and movement is something  performed consciously with the intention of focusing on the internal experience of the experience rather than the external appearance or result of the movement used as a tool to release any stagnant energy within the body or energetic fields.Â
Following on into conscious relaxation and journeying deeper into the subconscious through Yoga Nidra, which translated means "yogic sleep". Â Yoga Nidra is an ancient meditation technique where practitioners enter a deep state of relaxation, moving awareness from the external world to the internal. Yoga Nidra brings us to a state of deep relaxation, verging on sleep, where our senses, intellect, and mind can completely let go and rest. When this happens, brain activity reduces and the body goes into a healing state, removing toxins at a cellular level, refreshing the mind, and eliminating emotional baggage from the subconscious, as a result, one hour of this psychic slumber is said to give the same benefit as four hours of sleep.
Once in this deep and receptive state you will then be bathed in an array of instruments and ancient tools that have been used in sound therapy for centuries, including singing bowls of various frequencies to balance your chakras and the ancient yidaki (didgeridoo) to name a few, while these deeply grounding vibrations help you drift away into the nether realm enveloped in incense all the different instruments and sounds nurture you into expansion as you begin to bloom brightly into the seasons ahead.
